The sea around Heimr is vast and mostly unexplored by the people living on the main continent.
The lizardman have explored far and wide and found islands far of the coast of Heimr, but there are still islands that people have never set foot on and some that have long been abandoned by either lizardman or other societies.
The sea itself is of course largely populated with merfolk . But there are vast areas that are uninhabitable; either because of a lack of food or due to the presence of predators.
The sea can roughly be divided into the following area's starting with The Crater Sea and going clockwise around Heimr.
- The Crater Sea . named after the vast underwater crater, encompasses everything up to the Northern Pole .
- Miirhys's Strate . named after the city of Miirhys .
- Northern Coast Sea . In between the Northern Coast , Caer and the Crater Sea .
- Northern Coast . West of Fae Peaks .
- Danu's Embrance . In between Asgard and Caer .
- Caer Sea . Everything north of Caer .
- Lonely coast . East of the Fae Peaks .
- Lonely Coast Sea . East of the Lonely Coast .
- Merfolk Bay . East of the Eastern Gardens .
- The Eastern Ocean . The vast Ocean East of Heimr, eventually circles around into the Western Ocean .
- Worm's mouth . The Worm River leads into the sea into this bay.
- Lhengard Coastline . East of Lhengard .
- Green Gap . This is where the Green Flow leads into the Eastern Ocean .
- The Green Flow . This vast river mouth can be called a sea and is often a fought over front between Asgard and Utgard east of Midgard .
- Broken Seas . This is a collective name for all the smaller seas and strates in between the Broken Islands .
- Wana's Ocean . A loose term for the sea east and South-East of Wana's Eye .
- The Southern Ocean . The vast Ocean in between Heimr and the Frozen Wastes .
- The Sea of Spirits . The sea between Mutama Island and the Utgardian mainland.
- Gataur's Bay . Unofficial name for the bay west of Gataur's teeth .
- Terrendil Gap . This vast river mouth can be called a sea and is often a fougth over front between Asgard and Utgard west of Midgard .
- The Western Ocean . The vast Ocean West of Heimr, eventually circles around into the Eastern Ocean .
- Defenders Coast . The Coast west of Defenders Point .
- Aumrauth Coast . The Coast west of Aumrauth Point .
- Serpent Sea . The waters west of The Western Barrier .
- Northern Bay . The waters west of the city of Nevarth .
- Western Gulf . The gulf west of Darthoriadan
- The Northern Sea . The vast Ocean in between Heimr and the Northern Pole not including the Crater Sea .
- Sky Peaks waters . The waters north and below the Sky Peaks cliffs.
- Dearaldian Bay . The Bay in between Andearean port and the western few islands of the Crater Sea .
