A fanwatcher is a large bird with wings that seem to consist of sand from a distant, that circles around almost dead creatures. It eats their bodies when they die, usually with a large group of 20 or 30 fanwatchers. They sometimes attack unconscious mortally wounded creatures, eating them alive. Never leave a dying friend alone, not even to get a healer, in a desert of Heimr. Fanwatchers eat fanquirl when no large game is dying. (hence the name)
