Heimr LARP Core

About this document
This document is written for people familiar with the basic concepts of Role Playing and Live Action Role Playing. More information on this subject can be found in Introduction to LARP and Heimr. No previous knowledge about Heimr is required to read this document.
For any LARPs taking place in the Heimr setting, extra documents are available in which skills, conditions, rules on character creation and rules about NPCs can be found. These documents, as well as the Heimr Tabletop RPG Core can be found at http://www.heimr.nl/rulebooks/.
Introduction
In the Heimr LARP Core you will find rules which are common to all characters in a Heimr LARP. Players should know all of the rules in this document before attending a Heimr LARP based on this rule set. Any character specific abilities are documented in Heimr domain documents and do not require memorising.
The Heimr LARP is designed to create a highly immersive game environment, in which players can bring their characters to life. Because players are required to know all the rules, this document has been designed to be as short as possible, given the complexity of the LARP for which it is written.

Re: Heimr LARP Core
Since all items cards, and some condition cards will require markers, I think we should explain how they work. Here's the text I propose we add:
Item cards may have usage markers on them. Only items with these markers on them can be used. If an items is broken, remove all the markers from the item card. If a use limit is indicated on the item card, you should remove one marker every time you use that item. This includes using the item for something other then it's intended purpose.
In addition, the following description about items should be added to the character guide: Items with a use limit become worthless after they run out of uses. Items that do not have a use limit are worth half the original price. This way we don't have to write specific prices for these items. We should test if we can make this work though. Adds another layer of complexity to pricing items.
