Short description of the War

History

  • The beginning of the War
  • Recent events
  • Significant earlier events
    • Destruction of the troll capital
    • Destruction of Darthoridan
    • Enslavement and release of the Ogres
    • Forming of the Needle Desert

The Reasons for War

The primary reason for the continuous War between Asgard and Utgard is a rather grim one. They fight not for honour, not for glory, but simply to utterly eradicate the other side. The hatred amongst the races is such that they live for the destruction of the other side.

Noble and graceful, the Elves are among the oldest races on Heimr. Deeply spiritual and in tune with nature, they often look down on other, less developed civilizations.

Physical Traits

Elfs look very similar to their Fae counterparts in many ways, although they are often more slender and feature smaller ears. Their limbs are long and fair, their movements graceful and controlled. Even though their slender physique, they are as strong as any men. Their hair is often long and lush, shining with vitality.

Facial hair is uncommon within the higher castes of Fae en Elf society.

Standard information

The Fae are cousins to the Elves, though are said to be more unpredictable and manipulating. They make fine solders and even finer diplomats, able to ensnare people with honey-laced words.

Physical Traits

Fae look very similar to their Elf counterparts in many ways. Notable differences may show themselves in their overall length and the shape of their ears, which are often a tad longer but slightly thinner. Fae stand taller than Elves- their build somewhat more bulky, nearing that of a human.

Heimr is a world connected to the Vortex.

Astronomy

Heimr orbits around a binary star called "the sun" wich orbit around each other at a slightly slower rate than a Heimr year, this causes fluctuations in strength of the sun every two and a half year period. Heimr warms up during this two and a half year period and than cools down again accross the next two and a half year period.
